I could also see holsters being an upgrade that applies to whatever slot you have equipped at the time. Doing so could decrease your drawtime, making you pull guns faster.

Hackers are a problem and we have a bunch of ideas how to improve the network code to deal with them but that's only ideas at the moment as we prioritize other things like bots.
You could implement server side movement so players can't hack their way around the world 8-)

It's a projectile, so it can't be dodged. It gives a slow debuff when it hits someone, making it easier to land consecutive shots. It deals 20 damage per bullet, just doesn't kill immediately. Pistons is, structurally, an awful map. I think it should be reworked for a better playing experience.

I've got something similar in the works, I should probably release it.

After you download the map file, find it and "open" it. It'll launch a window with some stuff, main thing here is on the bottom of the window, there'll be a button that tells you to copy your maps over to a map folder. Click it and you should be good to use the map ingame.

What's the point of splitting the damage up if it's just going to deal the same damage at the end of the day? There's really no point to this change.

Wouldn't change much in the gameplay? That would be a crazy change for how maps are made and handled. You could suddenly do a whole lot more in terms of movement and would be a great foundation for making "parkour" maps. I don't think the wall dive move really does anything special but walljumps are...

The problem is the system overall. I'd love for grabs to be weaker but faster, but then you'd need to speed melee combat up, and that's something we'll just never see. Well yeah there's going to be some small differences, but basically it's a weapon that hurts whoever steps on it from slot 4. Sounds like a mine to me, just no explosion (And I guess it only hurts one person, yawn).

Except in this day and age that doesn't do anything to keep kids from playing when 99% of adults really don't care. That also means less money in the devs pockets (implying that a few people can't buy the game).

This doesn't add anything to the game. This isn't beneficial.

While I disagree with shephard on the "empty spaces" bit, his line of thinking is correct: when do I use this move and why would I use it instead of another move? If its just a "cool" move for fun then it doesn't need to be added.

Grabs already have a lengthy 1.5 second cooldown after use. If you're getting hit by this move, either get further away or attack more. Grabs lose to attacks.
