There's a reason we already have a classification of weapon titled "melee". If players could just use their gun as a melee weapon, it would completely imbalance the melee vs guns issue (more than it already is, anyways). Hopefully when the game gets a full release on steam, it'll have workshop support and people can put their scripts/maps together for the game through it. Until then I wouldn't mind seeing you guys throw some old scripts back together - I personally loved wizards, even if it was a broken mess.

Also seems odd that they explode into fire at their point of detonation as well. Likely related.

There's a language tool in the game files. Navigate Content > Data > Misc > Language, where you'll find the language tool. The tool can change any names you see in the game, and basically everything text-wise really. Should be able to change axe to hatchet with the tool.

Yeah the hanging lights and counters make this mode a joke. You don't even need the lamp you can hang from if you have a partner, anyone can dive you up into the light and zombies won't be able to reach you.

It's a new mode, it takes some time to get that far, and not everyone has an hour or more time to invest into a long game of SFD zombie survival. I'm sure more will be added later, but surviving 20 waves should be good enough to call it a day.

Upon further playing taking a fall deals a lot of damage to the player, as does fire. I'm not saying to tone down fire, since that's the main threat later in the game and it adds risk/reward (that fire zombie might toast half the hoard, but me too if I get caught in it...) but maybe look at impact d...

It's a little redundant to ask but yeah, it would be neat to have something like that happen to indicate the player is using scripts/has given themselves items or activated cheats of some kind. A friend of mine told me that they could easily make a script that would kill anything that wasn't on team...

Update is great. Got to wave 27 or so with a few mates. Feels like the beginning of what could be a much bigger feature/game, which I'm looking forward to. Seems like fire is the way to go here, and having more than 1 partner is likely a bad option since there isn't enough health or weapons to go ar...

Players can easily equip things instantly on pickup by just pressing the corresponding equip button directly after pressing the pickup button. Having weapons instantly equip is a bad things since you can't sprint while you're drawing a weapon, and if you're hit while drawing it, you'll be disarmed. ...

I prefer the old game's fast-paced gameplay because it is more competitive. There are different things for the player to pay attention to (like fall distances before you tumble vs where I can stall midair with attacks to avoid fall damage, weapon spawn points vs where the best places for map control...

This is the time to add new content. This is when the game needs to see all it can before it launches as a full game.

I mean, they won't be making any of these changes. Melee is set in stone at this point. It's not changing. But if it is, a combo system would be neat.
