I like the debris, now I watch out even more for explosions, and I avoid aiming with a weapon near them, since I know I might get disarmed by splinters (how ironic). Couldn't you just use melee "Q", because if you don't have a weapon selected it automatically sheathes... But this is not the point of this post! The point is the game is being overcomplicated! Do you mean the melee key (1 by default)? But if you have a melee weapon like a katana you might not want...

How is sheathe not an important hotkey? It's very important. If you're with a sniper, then an enemy forces melee, you have to sheathe as quickly as possible. Yes, it's harder to get items when there's a guy with a shotgun/sniper chasing you, and it should be. But there is already a delay for getting items, you have to stop sprinting and kick the box. Add a small delay to that, and it becomes really hard to get items when being chased. But, anyway, thinki...

There is already a risk in picking up weapons, because now we leave our current weapon behind to pick up a new one. If I break a weapon box, sometimes I want to think if I should trade my shotgun for an assault rifle, but if I just wanna pick it up quickly and get out, why can't I? "Waiting" usually...

I almost put this on small suggestions topic, but, anyways... I think picking up items should be easier, in 2 aspects. First, the "hitbox" should be adjusted in some items. If I'm not mistaken, you can't get stunned when getting up, also if you knock someone down you have to crouch to continue landing punches, or the punches will miss.

I just wanna suggest 2 things to make little combos smoother and faster. 1- I noticed that attacks "cancel" your G (E in my case - switch to throwing mode). But is that going to be an option? I like A+D. I mean, you guys couldn't wait a single day before complaining about the new mechanic. After practicing a bit, I had no trouble in performing grabs. Maybe it's because my punch is actually S (kick is A). It's much easier to punch with your middle finger...

I think we should practice it a little bit, the game already has a lot of buttons/keys! :p
