Is Pokemon GO a way of spying people?

In case you didn't know, Pokemon GO became popular a few weeks ago. Here's some news for you about how Pokemon GO can spy on your Google account, phone, and your life(I mean when you are catching a Pokemon, your camera turns on,right?). I really haven't played it myself, because I think it's childish.

That's a severely stupid reason to not play a game, all things considered. The main game played on these forums is about deformed pixel men shooting each other for little other reason than because they're there. Go outside and talk to some weebs, dude. It's what's hip and cool.
I don't think Niantic or Google need any more ways to spy on people. If Pokemon GO had any ulterior motives it would be to add the details of their visual databases and to record and maintain accuracy for worldwide landmarks of any size.

Goddamn it, people. All corporations that needed your personal info already got in other way. Keeping it secured while using mobile devises is almost impossible. So what, anyone got hurt because of that? Nope. People post in social networks so much info, so SPECIAL SPYING PROGRAMS is not needed. Stop being children (ha-ha, who I'm talking to). Just play games you like and don't mind these paranoid fools. Over.
P.S. This is my personal opinion tho. My phone is 10 years old

Pokemon Go is the least of your worries, especially if you're using windows/Microsoft products
