What happens instead is that you just "fall" up into the air and down, leaving you open to a combo again.
I think this only works when getting staggered by an uppercut and not a kick, and you may have to be staggered into an object.
I think any jump inputs that happen before the stagger ends has a chance to do this.

Does that count if you have 20 ping? Because it tends to happen to me. You get staggered, then try to instantly jump up, magically my guy levitates into the air, ready for another free combo.

Definetly not a ping issue, happens frequently in the low 60-20 pings.
