Throwing right after landing after an air melee locks you in an animation.

Title. The "animation lock" will make you unable to run, holster, equip another weapon, pick up other weapons, kick, punch, and drop it. The item won't be thrown and only getting hit or knocked down will fix it. It'll look like you're flexing your arm.

I'm not able to repeat this. I can't even enter throwing mode after performing an air melee attack.

To help us narrow down this problem here's a few questions:
What item did you try to throw?
What kind of air melee did you do - An air kick or air punch?
Did you have any melee weapon equipped while performing the air melee attack?
When/how did you enter throwing mode in order to throw the item after using an air melee attack?
OBS: If you have extension scripts active it may be a side-effect of the script. Make sure to test it without any scripts active first and on an official map not running any custom code - just to rule that out. Sometimes script can cause strange side-effects and if that's the case - which script is causing this? This will help us track down possible bugs in the ScriptAPI too.

On Hotel, on the left ladder, jump off the ladder at the top and perform a kick that will avoid the cooldown penalty. Make sure your weapon is in throwing mode BEFORE you perform the air kick. Immediately throw your weapon straight after, that should replicate what the OP is talking about.

The player is unable to do anything until another stun is imposed on them (falling from a high altitude, getting punched, critted, etc.)

Fixed after v.1.2.0c.
Thanks for the extra clarification. The timing was extremely finicky and wouldn't always work for me. Feels like I could only repeat this once every 50 attempts or so. My fingers hurt now after all spamming on the keyboard. Some conflicting animation rules could happen causing the throwing action to simply stop.. hm hmm!
