Carbine cannot be picked up while standing upright
As the title suggests, the carbine can't be picked up while it is standing upright, take this gif for example:

Did you try jumping and picking it up? It has to do with like, the collision of players and items and stuff.

Possibly something to improve in the future. For now the weapon's middle must be within a certain distance to your "feet" as most items gravitate towards the ground.
