So, if you shoot a metal hatch with 1 bullet with an UZI it will turn grey and if you shoot it again it breaks. But! If you kick a metal hatch it immideatly breaks. SFD = MIND BLOWN :shock:

I think not, this is not a bug for a simple reason.

The supply crate (and not only) behave according to the same concept, you can shoot multiple times but it needs only one kick to break.
This is a hard coded feature, it means that, first its not changable by scripts and second it doesn't not really need to respect game rules, so a weak melee hit can break something that actually have more life than how much the hit takes away.

Uzi only deals 4.5 damage. Kicks deal 5 damage to objects. Otherwise though yeah the kick is hardcoded to break certain things in one hit.
