We're making good progress preparing the game for the beta testing.
I haven't worked on the bots the past three weeks now but there have been plenty of other things to do anyway. Everything from default settings for new players to new tiles and triggers.
We will lack some features during the beta testing and might even do so after release. For example: you can't select the difficulty of a bot in versus games yet as we need more time developing the bots in the first place. Bots in the campaign will have different behaviors but they are setup by the map maker in this case.
While we try to keep everything as backwards compatible as possible some maps might not work 100% as intended. The ScriptAPI is not changed in any breaking way but internal bug fixes and changes might make some maps behave slightly different, something we can't do anything about. For example: we have finally fixed area triggers that didn't register rocket riding players - which may or may not affect maps using the area trigger. If this will break a specific map or not we can't tell and will leave it up to each map maker to decide if they need to update their maps or not.
