Pre-alpha 1.9.4 is out!

-New weapons: Knife, Chain, Flagpole (makeshift), Pillow (makeshift)
-New items: Police Shirt, Police Hat, Studded Jacket, Military Shirt, Military Jacket, Striped Suit Jacket, Striped Pants and Stylish Hat.
-Some new tiles including MetalBars (which projectiles go through).
-Fixed a bug causing the hitbox to be wrong when cooking a grenade while taking cover.
-Fixed a bug where players could grab makeshift weapons while cooking grenades.
-Fixed a bug causing ActivateTrigger to not be selectable by other triggers.
-Lots of other fixes and tweaks.
-Fixed a bug where deflected projectiles could hit objects immediately behind the player.
-Lots of other fixes and tweaks.

Wow, this was a really nice surprise! Stylish hat is my favorite now, police hat is cool, chain is snake-like, wonderful update! And also, pillows.. interesting.

i Noticed Something About The Knife , if you pick up the knife and drop it , the color changes to green , instead of the Silver and White Color .

That's the knife's sheath, friend. It's intentional.

On the other hand, it sure is strange that the weapon starts out without a sheathe, right? It's the same way with katana and machete. The fire axe has a sheathed sprite, but when you drop it, it isn't sheathed.

what i mean is that Why it gets sheathed AFTER you equip and drop it ...

Because you uhh... are well mannered and sheathe it so the next fighter who picks it up doesn't get cut?

Does anybody else find the chain model/preview to be a bit weird looking? I expected it to be longer, and look like an actual chain pile rather than a squiggly, curled up grey worm. The attack sprites are just fine, it's the slot model/dropped item that look odd. Other than that, a neat update as usual. Good work!

That's a fair question. Maybe it's worth suggesting that it be changed.
I was only saying that it has been a property of other weapons for a long time.

Actually, forget what I was saying about the chain looking weird. I haven't realized what you were trying to achieve initially, but now I get it. Very clever! Here, I recolored it a bit to make it more obvious for other players. Apologies for the bland colors, the in-game display is much more colorful.

I liked this new chain it's pretty cool. Hjarpe thumbs up for design of chain and knife :D

I've updated the OP with the download link. It was a fun little project I didn't put effort into, so don't expect too much.
As usual, copy-paste the contents into Superfighters Deluxe \ Content \ Data \ Images \ Weapons \ Melee to apply the texture.

Ok so the chain from what i can tell longer reach than the katana. my question is does it have a higer chance to disarm? Ive been using it alot and it seems like it but i just want to get confirmation......also is this going to be the whip?

There is no chance to disarm. You will either definitely disarm someone or you will not. You get disarmed of your weapon while drawing it, aiming your gun, firing your gun, and while kneeling. There might be more conditions, but I don't remember them off the top of my head.

The disarming rules are the same as for other weapons. This is like a mini version of the whip, the whip will be longer (think Indiana Jones' bullwhip) and the attack will be able to go through multiple objects, but it will only do punch-level damage.
