Jumping Framerate

Post by RickAvory » Thu Sep 28, 2017 4:15 am

I am having a very strange issue recently. My fps normally is around 230 fps. Recently however, while i would be playing the game would freeze up for about 5-10 seconds then resume with an fps of about 180, which isn't bad, but that 180 fps would not remain constant. It jumps from high to low fps constantly. it would go to 180-60-160-90-180-30 fps each few seconds. Even though these frame rates aren't that bad, it hinders with the game play extremely because such the big jump becomes noticible. Is their anyone that can help me shed light on what actually is happening.

It could be your vsync.
Outdated video drivers also cause problems like these.
