Is there any way to make CFTXT colorable?

Is there any way to make CFTXT colorable?

Post by Mr Argon » Thu Mar 05, 2020 10:52 pm

It's probably not possible... probably... but I see that health kits display "+25" or "+50" floating texts, and those are green. I'd like to know if there is a way to color the text when using Game.PlayEffect()

PD: If this is not possible, consider moving this post to the small suggestions topic.

For what I know, unfortunately, it is not feasible today, but seeing how the effect system is exposed throw the API (PlayEffect can accept any number of parameters after specifying the effect id and position) it should not be too problematic exposing a color property.

Good suggestion. I hope the devs will add this one.
