Competitive Forum Game: Google Searches
This forum game will work as a competitive thread, the leader of each option will be highlighted; you have the choice to use a screenshot or just say the sentence and everybody can check it by themselves. These are the options:
1st Option. See who can get the least results with the shortest amount of letters/words in a google search
Rules:
1. The search has to only contain letters, A-Z, using commas(,), dots(.) and spaces( ) will not count as letters. Therefore, using special search commands, such as the " marks, will not be accepted, since they can corrupt and exploit the search.
2. There has to be at least one result found, if there's no results found, then it can't be accepted.
3.The "points" will work as this formula
[ D = L * R ]
D = Total Discriminators, L = Letters, R = Results
3.A. Applied to the 1st option, the lesser the discriminator, the better you'll be.
2nd Option. See who can get the most results with the most amount of letters/words in a google search
Rules:
3. This exploit is forbidden, take for example searching "Justin Bieber baby," this search gets around 56.800.000 results.
4. No posting URLs, such as http://http://www.facebook.com (Filthy Poncho)
That specific song has very stupid repetitive lyrics, hence, it can be searched this way: "Justin Bieber baby baby baby [...]" with an almost infinite amounts of the word "baby" and stil getting the same amount of results, 56.800.000 results; this exploit gets disqualified too and its variations.
4.The "points" will work as this formula
[ D = L * R ]
D = Total Discriminators, L = Letters, R = Results
4.B. Applied to the 2nd option, the higher the discrimator, the better you'll be.
5. There has to be at least 8 letters in the search, you can use sentences. If there's less than 8 letters the search will be disqualified.
6. No posting URLs, such as http://http://www.facebook.com (Filthy Poncho)
The Leaderboard will be updated each time a new user is winning in a new post.
This thread can end and die and it can become a necrothread in a matter of time, when the moment arrives, this thread will have to be closed since its mission was fulfilled; hopefully we all have bad luck and keep getting those results alive!

Inserting the most notorious, stupid and insulting thread where admins won't charge you for almost anything.
With 6 letters too, I call qyqyk with approx. 739 results. Such a little amount of results for such a beautiful "word". Makes me sad.

With 6 letters to, I recall hqbyaK as the major leading 1st option, with 69 results. It kinda reminds me of Kayak

Writing vcjkqz found me 62 results. Has 6 letters, but also has the least amount of results in this thread so far.
What are we competing for? Is it tiered based on letter amount? Or is it result number? Say 6-letter phrase with 50 results would beat a 6-letter phrase with 60 results, yes? How would it relate to phrases with 5 letters then? I could just claim first-place by literally searching random things in all tiers, until someone tries to take the first place away from me. Sounds kinda flawed.

Yes, I've been thinking about that issue the several hours and thinking a smooth fix that would make it, and it became something very easy to do.KliPeH wrote:Writing vcjkqz found me 62 results. Has 6 letters, but also has the least amount of results in this thread so far.

I'll edit the rules with the issue fixed, thank you.

Well, at the moment you're winning in the 2nd option, since you need much more letters and much more searches, but since you only used 3 letters (you need 8), it gets disqualified. You didn't win in either options.Raptor wrote:CRA

By fixing the rules and the way it's organized, I've came to this conclusion, you can check it out in the inital post.
Pricey's 1. zcrkhc
29 results with 6 letters which makes him have 174 discrimator points, making him the lowest and best.

Procrastination
13 400 000 results, 15 letters
Too lazy to calculate the discriminator, I'll do it tomorrow.

I'll just come here and put american, with 8 letters and 2.060.000.000 results. If I got the rules right, this gives me a total of 16.480.000.000 discriminators.
God bless America.
Anyway, can we use spaces in the first option?

Yes, you can use spaces in the first option, but it'll not take away any letter!
Del Poncho's 2. American
with 8 letters and approx. 2 190 000 000 results (updated), giving him a total of 17 520 000 000 discriminator points, being the highest and best in the second option!
