Why is everyone using the 1.0.1 beta version?

So, i've had this question for a relly long time...Why is everyone still using the old 1.0.1 beta version instead of the newest 1.0.2c beta version? I am not exaggerating, every single time i have tried to join server the same message has been popping up: ''this server's 1.0.1 beta version does not match your 1.0.2c beta version'' (and this has been happening for a really long time now...even on extremely active servers.) I really cannot understand what is going on here...has nobody updated their game except me? i am very confused could somebody explain? Thank you.

hey, what happens is that the game has been updated and has become paid, is in steam you can go to this link, go to it and buy the new version https://store.steampowered.com/app/855860/ Superfighters_Deluxe /

The current latest version (as I'm writing this) is "v.1.0.1" which is the release version. Notice that there is no "Beta" prefix in the version number here.
The "Beta v.1.0.2c" is over 1 year old by now.

Oh my god this made me chuckle. You’re the one who didn’t update kid! I highly recommend you purchase the game on steam as it’s a lot of fun.

Our next version will probably be named v.1.0.3 instead of v.1.0.2 to avoid even more confusion between "Beta v.1.0.2c" and "v.1.0.2" So don't worry if you missed a version number.
