Been trying to find out a good free pixel editor,can any of you tell me what you use?I've used aseprite trial but it doesnt let you save so....yea.

MS Paint...? I mean, that's what I've been using to make my textures and people seemed to like those. What makes it so useful really is its simplicity; all you need is the zoom feature and the pixel-wide pencil tool. Other programs feature things you really don't need, like layers, effects or complicated drawing tools. The only thing MS Paint doesn't do is create transparent backgrounds, but you can always find free tools that do this online. I personally run the finished textures through Paint.NET to remove the white background but you don't have to do it with downloadable software if you don't want to.

Just tried using MS Paint,and i already tried Paint.Net. It's incredible what you made on it though,guess im not as talented.Any others?(Used graphics gale and Piskel.)

Try adobe photoshop. It's really good if you can't figure it out how to make watch this beginner tutorial video here :

Also try Aseprite if you haven't. It's paid but you can find crack on internet.

We have used MSPaint for SFD. As a pixel editor it works extremely well if you zoom in.
