Hi,
I'm relatively new to this forum, even though i have visisted it several times in the past. I have read the forum rules, but still please tell me if i have done something wrong. This is my first post.

So basically I have started recording my matches in SFD, and when browsing on YouTube i came accross several channels that feature SFD gameplay. I have been inspired to wanting to do the same thing, so i also signed up for YouTube.
But when reading trough the rules on YouTube i realized that there was one thing i had forgotten to ask.

So my question is: Do I need permission from the Developers to post gameplay and videos about Superfighters Deluxe?
The first thing i did was to go to the official homepage for the game: "http://www.mythologicinteractive.com/Su ... tersDeluxe". But there was no notice about what was legal to do with the game. There might have been when i did the installation, but that was so long ago, and i cannot recall. I see that there is a copyright notice on the website with "© 2018 MythoLogic Interactive ", but i don't know what this signifies?

YouTube has relatively strict rules about copyright, and I do not want to get striked and get my channel suspended.

And yes, I have searched the forum beforehand, found something similar to my topic, but not quite what i was looking for.

I would have normally written a personal e-mail directly to Gurt, but i figured that if the Forum exists, it was worth a try to post something and hopefully get an answer. This could also help answer other people that have the same question!

I didn't think that this post fit under the other categories, so i decided to post it here.

If i do need permision, do i write the copyright at the end of every video, or is it enough to write it in the description of the video, and with a link to the homepage?

Please, I am not trying to promote my channel, i'm just curious.

We at MythoLogic Interactive are very happy when people post videos of Superfighters Deluxe. So to you and everyone else, you 100% have our permission. If a video gets flagged, it won't be because of us. Let us know if that happens and we'll try to help.

You don't need to do anything special in the video (as long as you don't claim you made the game, obviously). A link to the MythoLogic website would be awfully nice though.

Use my maps as you want to, I'm not limiting you. All my content is free to use in playing, editing, recording and so on as long as you don't claim it to be yours. So answer is yes, do make videos and do share them. Have fun
