Yeah, cause I'm pretty sure they would have been Rocket Riding into battle.

I had an idea for a campaign that would take place shortly after the tutorial, during the Vietnam War. It was going to be an Apocalypse Now-style riverboat journey into the jungle to kill a Colonel-rank superfighter who went insane from the horrors of war and started killing for fun - the very incident that first made the public turn against superfighters, changing their image from that of war heroes to be celebrated (à la Gene McBride) to monsters to be feared and oppressed. The evil Colonel would be the original Funnyman, which the game show host in Prime Time in Sunny City is a commercialized representation of. At the end, you'd fight the Colonel in a derelict fairground in the middle of the jungle.
I had lots of campaign ideas that would contribute to a greater and more cohesive story and themes, but the amount of time it takes to build a campaign is just, well, insane. Hence there is a lot of untapped story potential, a lot of themes and ideas that I could never explore in a satisfying way. Oh well, maybe one day...

Since further official expansion of the story is unlikely, would you consider writing what the general story/timeline was supposed to be? What we have is fairly sparse, only the creation of the Superfighters and their use in the military, and then a jump (not counting your above post) to dystopian future.
