SFD hits 10 years while june/july 2022(as far as i know), so i'd like to ask... Is there any small update coming?
As you can see this game is still active, content-makers are still making maps/textures and anything that is related to this game.
Maybe make some small gift for the players? At least some of new tiles(fbg/bg/solid, if you want i can share some ideas) or few new clothes?
There are also some clothes without access, like stahlhelm, hazmat mask and some else.

I mean... We're still waiting for hair DLC, Johan... Is there any chance in future?

It will be nice if game will get some small, but nice update.

Jokes aside, an anniversary update would be really cool despite the current state of the game. Surprise us, Alexander .

Hmm yeah but afaik, as devs making some campaign for it, they introduced some new items, clothes / skins, tiles, maps, and more, making it feel new and "unique", but before that, devs will "think" of what about to update / add something to the game that is necessary and such...

I don't want to "burden" your suggestion but 'Jetpacks' might ruin the game's balance (if done well or devs have it useful only for campaigns, challenges, and some new official maps requiring it to reach some things, i don't see why not...).

Anyways i don't want to hurt someone, i'm just sharing my opinion as i always wanted some minor updates to celebrate SFD too especially with Player Bot's clothes customization that i suggested from other topics...

That was pretty expectable.

We have supported this great game for a long time and we are still here (even though the game was put up for sale), at least give us something for that...
If you don't think about spending time on this game ever again (...), then just make one last update for the community that is still here, in which the game code is added so that each player has the freedom to create new things for SFD. It may be..., new clothes, new weapons, new enemies, etc.

It would be amazing if there was a new update with at least some cool features. I'm supporting this tread!

There is a chance for the late success of this beautiful game, I think we need to advance!

Hey now, the servers aren't going down anytime soon, as we want anyone who enjoys SFD to keep doing so. But the game is finished, and we have 100% definitely moved on. Games should be made with passion or not at all, and since we have no passion left for that particular game, making another update would basically be vandalism.

Releasing the source code would be overly generous at this point, since the game still sells copies and gets positive reviews. We still want to make a living in games some day, and that little bit of extra income helps in that direction.

We worked very hard for many years to make a game that could sustain itself indefinitely through its core gameplay. Churning out endless content for the game was never the plan. We appreciate the community that exists around the game, we really do. We don't take any of you for granted. But we're never gonna make something we don't want to make, and if you think you are somehow entitled to that, that's too bad for you.

What are you talking about? The game is virtually dead and you talk about balance? xD The game already lost all balance after 2018, as it was intended. Use Scripts if you want balance.

If the game is still played by anyone in 2030 I'll be very surprised.

SFD might not have finalized like any of us had wished, but i still wish team Mythologic Interactive good luck on their future games and explorations. I hope you learned a lot over the course of this decade. A lot of hard work went into this game.
