well, we have a baseball bat that has something different than the other weapons.it can launch grenades so far away!a hokey stick could be used to launch mines further than just a kick.i have faced this a lot of times while playing.kicking the mines before activating cant always help you.a hokey stick could save you though.

Getting an item does not balance it out, although I do see the logic behind a hockey stick, but I also don't see the need for a weapon like this.

there are many weapons that arent that different (hammer,wrench..) plus, it would be nice to have another sport based weapon. it also has a special feature so the basebal bat is not the ONLY one
