Push Kick (Super Fighters Edition) New Visuals

Post by Player1 » Sun Jan 29, 2017 10:52 pm

Description: Super Fighters Deluxe has most of its game play complete, attacks- punches, blocks, and grabs (with almost complete grab mechanics), and hopefully soon a form of a dash attack Shoulder Bash. Notice I left out the "kick" in SFD, that is more of a head kick for when somebody is down, or a tiny shove in the form of a kick. Anyways, to compensate for the lack of a complete kick, this suggestion is being made.

Push Kick
Default controls= "X button"
Gameplay
-The push kick in SFD is a special video-game like orientation of the real thing (hence the "Super Fighters Edition in the title). It has a sweet spot mechanic, with the sweet spot being at the very end of the player's foot.
-When a player is hit with the push kick and they're already close to the player, the player that got kicked will simply stumble back a long distance and take 1 base damage.
- When a player is hit with the sweet spot, they're sent flying back (think to when a player is hit with a good jump kick). This kick does 2 base damage (but imagine what damage they could take while flying back)
- Air attack is just a jump kick.
- Can be blocked normally, (no stumble back, etc.) but a player can still kick again before the cool down sets in.
- The kick has a cool-down similar to the grab after 2-3 consecutive kicks.
