Blood Stained Weapons
Thanks to motto73 For The Idea
Now as we know motto73 has a gore mod,which really increases the amount of blood on screen and splatter out of a enemy.But one thing it doesnt have is blood on your weapon.I Was Tooling around abit with texture and the splatter texture and found out that though extremly hard for me(might not be for devs) that u can add blood stains on every hit.it would mean that the devs would need updating/live textures which i dont think there is a system for,although i will continue to explore for one.Main Point,wouldnt it be cool to run around with a machete covered in blood?Yea, i thought so

That would make the game oddly dark. Come on, when we get hit by trains we explode in such a cartoony fashion. The addition of blood stained weapons would change the atmosphere of the game.

I think the game already *is* oddly dark. A blood(/orange juice?)-stained machete doesn't seem more violent than getting gibbed by an explosion, with pieces of meat and a skull flying off.

Well, I'm not sure about blood stained weapons, but it would definitely make sense to have more dirty and damaged players by the end of the match.
The Original SF had this feature, and the more damage you took, the more bloody your fighter was. Those few red pixels changed a lot.
Since this is basically the Original SF on steroids, I would imagine one step forward from that.
If we get damage based on what hits us (for example,a difference between explosion and bullet damage),well,that's it for me. I'm done. You can start selling the game cause I'll be buying all of the copies.

Yea,as if you were hit by a grenade,you'd be bloody and some of you costume is torn,in addition to blood coming out other places

I see this being a stretch goal. All in all, the ability for actual weapons and such to change the way you look seems like a cool idea. Maybe fire would burn your clothes? or some shit like that idk
