Maybe the carbine should be more buffed and have a bayonet where the user can stab players with the bayonet on the carbine

Carbine is fine. maybe a higher chance of critical hit would make it better, but all guns need not be balanced. against a carbine, a guy with AR or tommygun should win. this is why this game is hugely luck based.

yes! this'll finnaly make grab usable while having a primary equipped

by pressing G (or whatever you use for grab) you'll charge forward with the bayonet and stab an enemy that gets in your way and then knock them over

I think you haven't played enough with the carbine, or against it. It's a great weapon to slow down targets, or to knock them out of the air.
You just don't know hot to use it well.

A bayonet would be a good attachment, for those weapons that have a close combat disadvantage.
But knowing how melee works, it would be way too unfair to combat against.
In my opinion.

The whole point of choosing a gun over melee is that you aren't going to be able to melee. Giving a melee attack to a gun (short of the kick, which is absolute garbage in most melee scenarios) is basically killing the flow of combat.

I actually love this idea. Maybe their can be a way to use a gun like a melee weapon as well, like using the butt of the gun to attack someone. This can be good when someone is out of ammo or needs to reload.

I played alot with the carbine, it is one of my favorite weapons, I was more refering to the bayonet attachment than the buff for carbine.
