Weapon Suggestion: En Garde!

Post by Player1 » Mon May 30, 2016 3:31 pm

Weapon Idea: Short Rapier Sword

A special new weapon with a parry system and a different attack sequence, which I'll get into below.

-The Rapier will be a short weapon, its attacks will be unique, as the player will only be allowed 2 straight jabs.
-Each jab attack does 10 damage, it's extremely easy to block, because as stated before the attacks are straight jabs. Taking 3 consecutive jabs, counts as a stun.
-(Edit) The Rapier needs a heavy attack, to compensate for the lack of air attacks and air blocks, you can do a heavy attack by running and attacking to dash and jab opponents.

Although it is limited in offense, if used correctly can become an ultimate defense.
-Sweet spot your block correctly, by pressing the F button in the middle of a block and the rapier will be highlighted to show you can parry.
(The parry takes 50 stamina, and must be sweet spotted)
-A player that attacks the highlighted block with any weapon will go into the double dive animation (When 2 players dive into each other), however this does no static damage, but imagine parrying a player with a weapon over a tall ledge.
- A player that attacks the highlighted block with no weapon will go into the stumbling animation. (Like when you kick a player rolling)
-The parry prolongs the block for 2 seconds.
-The parry has no cool down.

The Rapier is sheated to the side of the player, not the back like the katana.

When using the Rapier, you cannot block in the air, or attack in the air. It's a ground only weapon.

Also while using the the Rapier, the player's stance turns into this.

(If the aesthetic change is too much, I understand)

Rarity - Similar to Katana.
I might edit this later
