LAN auto-kick (Using Hamachi)

Post by Shirozaki » Fri Mar 01, 2019 11:18 pm

Well, a simple problem to explain.

I host, people join, no matter how much the same thing happen
When the game is loading, i do load perfectly, when i hit 100%, every other player is still at 0% and then, when the game starts
Everyone but the host gets disconnected.

This never happened before, just started from night to day.

"This never happened before, just started from night to day."
It sounds like some firewall rule has been updated.
We can only give vague suggestions like check your firewall rules, anti-virus programs and Hamachi settings.

I tried some stuff with a friend of mine.

Something quite ironic is: I can actually play other people games normally.

Check your firewall rules, anti-virus programs and try to disable Hamachi when playing SFD.

He's using Hamachi to host games so that would defeat the purpose of the thread.

That said, Hamachi is very unpredictable and even dangerous to your network. I'd say learn how to port forward and stop relying on software "helpers" (Hamachi, Tunngle) in order to host online games.

We do not support Hamachi or other virtual LAN adapters - if they work for you that's great but nothing we support. If those kind of solutions simply doesn't work - try to disable them. It can also be as simple as you must use the "Connect To IP" option if you're using a virtual LAN adapter in order for the game to correctly connect as the server browser might not work under these situations.
