I personally dont know to script, but is there a way to program intelligent bots, like in superfighters?

There are markers (the most important tool in a map) that can let you control CPUS. BUT! You also need to know how to script. There is a video that teaches you the basics of making a CPU: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0KYYJGcbTpI

There is currently no way to efficiently make an intelligent CPU. There are ways that CPUs can be made but they're a bit iffy and aren't very intelligent. Once campaigns get polished and released I'm sure the tools needed for this will come about.

Actually thats where Pricey is wrong.
Some people in this community have succeeded in making intelligent bots that can meele.
But not the ones that can move around and stuff. take Shocks for example.
If you are interested I can send you one of shocks maps where he uses AI controlled bots to fight.

I know that Shock has made lots of cool bots and i have played on his server today and i was blown away from all the intelligent bots. But, if you wanna learn how to make these kinds of bots better ask Shock for help.

To be honest, those bots are good but far from "intelligent". All I see in those bots Shock made are predetermined combos. Attack attack block kick for example. When I hear "Intelligent bot" I think, "A immediate challenge, something that is always adapting to its environment."

In my opinion an intelligent bot should be able to do more than just melee and move around, which is what all the bots in this game do (excluding the tutorial AI). I've played many of Shock's Metal Hell maps, and, while his bots are cool and all, they are only bots with tweaked speed that run and jump around. They can't accurately determine where a player is for the most part and are not very accurate when trying to hit their enemies. Like Evilsack said, the bots that have been created can't be considered intelligent as this game has not yet acquired the sufficient coding properties needed to create realiable, intelligent AI.

Actually there is a script to make CPU intelligent, they shoot, they change weapon, they punch, they block, they dodge, they grab players and throw.
They don't climb up ladders, but they are pretty smart.

They Actually not THINKING, but can make it look like intelligent with LOTS OF SCRIPTS

Talking about bots you have evoked me...

I want to remember (I do it often actually) that I'm still around trying to bring out a decent AI, before the new playercommand structure was included in the API I made a raw interpretation of how it should be, if someone remember the 1.1.1b prototype... well now is super enhanced.

So far my efforts are focused on building a solid movement system (still static) then I'll deal with the inventory system (weapon priorites and searching) and only at the end the shooting system (already wrote the raycast).

Yes, but obviously we arent going to expect Proper smart robots in SFD, but Shock has create the basics for AI, the combos, the speed the jumps
Personally I think Shock has made the A.I. we should have in this game until the full release of SFD.
I mean if Shock made it close, imagine what he could do with the right tools and make it quicker!
I think they should add Shock to Dev team :)

Shock made a really basic bot. As I said, predetermined combos is all I see in those bots. They aren't intelligent at all. They just have basic logic, in which you must be in a specific situation in order for it to deal serious damage. Whereas the examples I saw above are really a step closer to some form of "Intelligent" bot. Although it may not actually deal damage, the fact that it can somewhat adapt shows progress. More intelligent bots aren't really far from grasp at this point but I doubt that they will be at the top of the devs to do list for this game.
