AT Rifle - Weapon idea
An Anti-Tank rifle is in the same school of infantry carried artillery as a grenade launcher or rocket launcher. It fires one MASSIVE shell, big enough to heavily damage tanks, and to kill a superfighter on a direct hit. They expend all of their propellant when fired, as opposed to rocket launchers which continue burning as it travels, and it doesn't have as big a blast radius of it's fellow 5 rarity items. It moves very quickly, and would theoretically have a shot drop arc, but because superfighters is very close combat, that wouldn't need to be implemented. It has a decently long reload and one shot per clip, and from 2 (as I had written before) to 5 spare rounds. The biggest virtue of it, though, is the cover negation it provides. It shreds though almost anything it hits, including some metal objects, and can even pierce weaker things like wooden desks. Would appreciate any feedback on this primary item idea :D

ok u can tone down the sarcasm that's what I'm supposed to do. Also, its not supposed to be used as much as a weapon as an anti cover tool to expose an enemy for fire, that's why I said it would only kill on direct hit, and I am also not even sure if it should oneshot. Thanks for the incredibly constructive criticism tho :D

Yeah dude it's basically a bigger sniper rifle that one shots and also ignores stronger cover.
There's really no more input required you basically just outlined a heavy sniper rifle.

I know I'm an LM crony, but I gotta agree that this weapon sounds super busted.
- An instant kill from a "MASSIVE" projectile is crazy enough. We already have bazooka and (at times) grenade launcher in the weapon pool for that.
- It plows through cover, which already is the specialty of the sniper rifle, power weapons like the M60 and the flamethrower, as well as fire and explosives in general.
- It moves fast and thus wouldn't arc in SFD, ye? So its range is practically that of the sniper rifle + splash radius. Again, bazooka already does this.
- A maximum of 5 extra rounds is quite intimidating! That's as much as the
sniper rifle! and more than
the bazooka! Giving it two spare rounds doesn't make the ammo count much of an issue, but the other points still stand tall and proud.
So like... JBT, you said that it's not meant to be used as a brute-force type weapon, but rather a cover negation tool. If that's the case, I suggest you don't give so many overwhelming incentives to use this weapon as a jack-of-all-trades power weapon. After that, I'd tell you we already have cover negation tools and don't need another one.
All in all, I'm not in favor of this weapon being added.

thank you for actually giving feedback, wozenbelt. Ik its probably not a really great addition, I just read about this weapon and thought it would be cool in sfd. I was personally thinking it would have a very tight splash more to help break extra things than to actually damage people, and I'm thinking it wouldn't be as accurate or as efficient for damage dealing as the sniper because of its longer reload after every shot. I'm not really thinking it would be balanced to oneshot, but seeing as its a damn gun that can kill tanks, it theoretically should, even though it probs shouldn't for sake of balance. Maybe more knockback instead of lots of damage? and I'm thinking it wouldn't move TOO fast, around the speed of the grenade launcher's shot, and it could arc, but that's more work that probably isn't needed, as I stated.
